Write in

Suggestions, disagreements and corrections all arrive in the same place and are read by the three of us. We answer between Tuesday and Thursday, usually within a week, and we answer every message that is not an offer of a review copy.

Thank you — your message is ready to send

This site is a static one, so nothing has actually left your browser. Please send the same text to [email protected] and it will reach the same three people.

Answers to the four most common messages

You are welcome to tell us it exists, and developers do — that is a suggestion like any other and it joins the same list. What we cannot do is accept a code, promise a date, or guarantee a reading, because a full reading takes at least ten hours and we buy every copy ourselves. If we start one and set it aside, we will not publish a partial reading about it.

Short quotations with a link back need no permission at all — take them. For anything longer, including translations and reprints of a whole reading, write in and tell us where it will appear. We have never refused a request, but we do like to know, and we will ask you to keep the three findings together rather than quoting one line on its own.

Very much so, particularly if your room differs from ours. The most useful messages we receive are of the form “your television pass says the alerts crowd, but on my setup they were clear, and here is what my setup is”. Several of those have changed how we describe a pass, and one led to a correction. Tell us the game, the pass, and what you heard.

No, in any form: no display advertising, no affiliate links, no sponsored readings, no paid newsletter placements and no priority in the queue for money. The desk is funded by the three of us out of other work. We will not reply at length to advertising enquiries, and we would rather not receive them.
